Ben brings a sharp technical eye and a grounded, hands-on approach to every aspect of production. A cinematographer, camera nerd, drone and gimbal enthusiast, and creative problem-solver, his work underpins much of the studio’s visual identity. With a deep respect for the technical craft and genuine enthusiasm behind the lens, Ben helps manage the day-to-day operations across Raz Studios’ Production, and Rental arms. He also serves as the lead operator of the studio’s high-speed motion control cinema robot, pushing the boundaries of precision and creativity in dynamic camera movement.
Matt is a producer, director, and screenwriter with 18 years in the industry, driven by a passion for storytelling, innovation, and genuine audience connection. With a collaborative approach to filmmaking, he believes the process should be just as rewarding as the final product—building creative partnerships, embracing challenges, and finding joy in the journey. Whether behind the camera or crafting narratives, Matt’s focus is on bringing compelling stories to life in a way that resonates with both collaborators and audiences. Also, if there’s ever a Survivor trivia night, he’s the guy you want on your team.
Chelsea is the Production Coordinator at Raz Studios. She provides the essential backbone support for our commercial productions and manages all corporate client accounts with precision and care. Known for her sharp organisational skills and calm, solutions-focused approach, Chelsea ensures every project runs smoothly, from planning to delivery. Her ability to balance logistics, communication, and client needs makes her an integral part of the team.
With a passion for technology and creative collaboration, Lauren is driven by a positive outlook and a constant curiosity for new advancements in the industry. With a strong foundation in high-end camera builds and camera assisting, her work is rooted in a solution-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering quality. A skilled technician with a passion for cinematography, dedicated to ensuring seamless operations through expert gear preparation, maintenance, and testing. With hands-on experience in camera and equipment management, she plays a key role in running Raz Studios’ rental operations and studio productions smoothly. Alongside technical expertise, she also contributes to productions as an Assistant Camera, gaining invaluable insight and hands-on experience in the field. Motivated by a long-term goal to step into the role of Director of Photography, she actively seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and hone her craft. We aim to highlight the joys and struggles of balancing work and family life while showcasing the warmth of their evening rituals.
